In the heart of 1980s Stockholm, when shoulder pads were sharp and colors were louder than life, Gun Nowak ran Sweden’s most forward-thinking fashion boutiques. But something was missing. The makeup simply didn’t match the moment.
So Gun decided to fix that.
In 1982, she launched FACE Stockholm — a beauty brand born from boldness, creativity, and a deep understanding of fashion-forward expression. What began as a solution for a lack of vibrant, high-quality makeup quickly evolved into a global brand rooted in Scandinavian minimalism and expressive individuality.
